WHEN I WALK THROUGH LIFE

When I walk through life

I've learned to step softly on the road

For I never do know when

There is a little life below

Though I cannot see under my feet

I hold my stare to the ground

Incase I can help to save a heart

Even a tiny beat makes a sound

Calmly, patiently, quietly

I slowly make my way

Knowing I am not a lonely walker

Makes me walk another day

Whether small or large

Before we walked we had to crawl

Let every life be loving enough

To make a friend when we fall
